Please Note: It is extremely dangerous to use elastic straps (octopus/occy straps) to hold canoes or kayaks onto roof racks. They can cause eye injuries and your canoe or kayak could still be propelled forward if you stop suddenly. Solid tie down straps or ropes are suitable.
